Simple, but maybe stupid side marker question
I am picking up my 2003 Boxster S and I love the fact that the side markers are clear vs. the amber that I see on so many others. However, I don't know why they are clear. Other 2003's that I see have the amber, and I know for a fact that my father in law (who I am getting the car from) did not change them out himself.
So what's the deal? Thanks |
Is the FIW 1st owner? Pretty sure they came stock with amber.

Is your father in law just messing with your mind?

But I know he isn't pulling my chain. And here is a pic: http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1340308522.jpg |
2003 was the first year for clear.

Great looking car! That is what I want my car to look like. I hate the yellow headlights on my car.

I guess it really isn't that big a deal, just curious. Love that link though. Good info! |
Got my answer
I just found out that the car was ordered from Porsche that way. It was originally delivered to Boardwalk Porsche in Texas, and they order their cars that way.....
Guess I just got lucky! |
