Upgrading to a Boxster S Exhaust

Will a 2002 Boxster S Exhaust fit a 2001 Boxster? Is this a simple swap without any hanger modifications or hanger kits?

My first question is why would you want to do this? It seems to me that the exhaust is designed for a specific engine and simply swapping these may not give you anything desirable.

Make sense?

I just like the Dual Tip look without the increased resonance from an aftermarket exhaust.

i say u go for it. it'll probably not gonna give u any increase in ponies, but hey, it looks cool. so go for it. i have a used 01 boxster s w/dual tip muffler in excellent condition. if u're interested, let me know.

A 3.2 is a direct swap for a 2.7. No adapter is needed, unless you want to put it on a 2.5.

There is no performance or sound difference. The mufflers are the same except for the number of tips.

I also have the original Boxster S exhaust from my old car doing nothing. If anyone makes me an offer they can have it.
