windscreen washers

hi all,
have just purchased a 1999 boxster about 4 weeks ago & am still getting used to it - all great so far - however yesterday the windscreen light on the dash came on,i topped the water up & it went off but although the wipers work & you can hear the washer motor working no water appears ! any ideas anyone please

Could be a few things. Try a simple one first. Make sure the nozzles are not pluged-up with old wax from detailing. You might need a pin/needle to un-stick.
