Uneven Tire wear

I know this has probably been discussed at length but I would like some insight.

I noticed my two front tires are worn on the inside and I am currently changing my lower control arm because I noticed there is some play in the ballpoint.

My back tires although are wearing on the inside half of the tire. I know this is normal for a Boxster because of the negative camber but on of my tires in the rear is extremely more worn than the other. What could be causing such an uneven wear.

Sounds like your alignment is off. If you have directional tires, you can dismount the tires and swap them side to side to rotate them and make them last longer. This doesn't work if you have assymetrical tires.

Same problem. Had an allignment done and set at .8 (a more street setting) and 4 new Continental xtreme contact tires. NOW the car rides like NEW !!! The front end is now smooth and drives very straight.

Due to the stock alignment (slight negative camber), its normal to have more tire wear on the inside on the tires. You can ask the alignment tech to set the wheel to a more tire friendly camber setting but you'll give up some cornering performance.

Alternatively, go out and do a track day and you'll wear the outside of the tire from not having enough negative camber.
