Removing a Pioneer stereo from boxster

Does anyone know how to remove a Pioneer DEH P3500 stereo. I need to get in the back in attach a Sub-woofer. Do I need those tools or are they only for the Becker stereo's. Once i get it out how to I get the RCA cables going to the subwoofer under the carpet and behind the stereo
thanks

pioneer head units come with a pair of metal bars that are inserted on both sides of the head unit which release a pin allowing you to pull the head unit out. if you do not have these tools, stop by any car audio shop that carries pioneer products, they will have them.

if you have never pulled carpet to run wires, then a porsche is probably not a good place to start. i say have a pro do the install, it should cost too much.
