I'm 46, but do my best to act half that age if at all possible. Ask my wife, she knows... :D

Turned 52 a couple weeks ago and decided to buy myself a birthday present.

1st Porsche, 1st European sports car.

I should have bought one eons ago.

It all started when I decided a few years ago that i hated the plain looks of every tin can on 4 wheels. I wanted a sexy looking car for a change and thought that it would be a good idea to build a replica Porsche GT out of a boxster wreck with one of those body kits.

The girlfriend convinced me that spending years in the garage working on another project would make her sad and miss me too much.

I thought that since I was going to spend around $15k anyway I might as well get a driveable Boxster and have some instant gratification, and when it does die some day I'll have my basis for the GT.

I had no idea I was going to love the Boxster so much for itself.

Now Im hooked.
