Curious...Since it's almost the same effort in terms of taking the wheels off, cleaning them, and then spraying them, why not just spray them with paint (which is a more permanent solution), than to plastidip them? Won't the plastidip come off rather easily when pebbles/road debris hits it from highway use? Looks nice btw...

No one wants it to be permanent. I have been driving with Plastidipped wheels for a year now. No problems with pebbles or road debris taking the plastidip off.

When it comes time to sell the car, it is worth more in original form.

And painting is much more expensive and requires sanding.

Yep, a lot of what he said. This stuff is what they use to dip your tool handles in. It's actually very tough and temperature tolerant. It will not scuff or tear from small rocks hitting it.

And it is significantly more effort to paint than use this product (having painted wheels before). And now, if i scuff one on a curb, I just peel it off and spray it again for $20.
