How high have you had your Boxster?

There has been a thread on how fast...but how high have you had your Boxster? I was at 9200 feet in Cloudcroft, NM. Beautiful drive, but could definitely tell the performance difference. I stalled it about 3 times during the trip.

Well i had just gotten my Boxster. I was driving alittle to fast on an Unfamiliar road and there was a huge bump in the road. I hit the bump and probably had all 4 tires a good 8 to 10 inches off the ground. Wow what an experience. :)

Nice...did you give a good Dukes of Hazzard yell?

I sure did

The picture you see above is at 13,200-some-odd, on top of Trail Ridge Road, in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park.
Any time you get above maybe 9,000 ft you can really feel it, at least in my little 2.5 liter '99.
Never had any stalling problem, even at the 13,000.

About 11,000 feet... my 2.5 had reduced power and performance for sure. Very little "gitty up!"

It wasn't a stalling PROBLEM per say...more driver hamfistedness.

Lucky. I've been there a million times and each time I think, "Man, I wish I had my Boxster." If you want to go a bit higher. Drive over to Ruidoso and up to the top of Sierra Blanca to Ski Apache. Its 10,000+ with tons of switch backs and just awesome roads. The road that connects Cloudcroft to 70 is pretty awesome in its own right.

Sorry about the pic, its from a crappy gas station camera. If you look close at the bottom you can see the road that you have to drive up. Its nuts.
