remove seat warmer switch
 

Hi
my driver side seat warmer isn't working (flashes red when pressed). i searched the forums and the first suggestion for trouble shooting would be swap the driver and passenger side switches to see if it is the actual switch itself.

this may sound like a stupid question, but how do you remove the switches from the car? i can't seem to figure that out.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

assuming your switches are located at the center console, you do not need to remove them.
1. remove the ashtray.
2. remove the 2 screws and pray out the plastic part that holds the switches.
3. disconnect the switches wires, and reconnect them the other way around.

unfortunately, it wasn't the switches. all the cabling seems to be inserted properly, nothing loose. i guess it might be actually something in the heating mechanism itself.
i don't use it very much, but sucks that it doesn't work properly...
