New to forum... Build sheet / window sticker

Hi ALL:

Just picked up my "new" 2000 Boxster S.

I'm the 3rd owner and "believe" I've found a keeper. I sure hope so.

It's a driver not a show car and will be a family member for years... (I hope)

I tried looking up a search on window sticker or "build sheet" and didn't connect.

Does anyone know how to get info? If I give vin # is it available?

Under the front trunk lid will be a sticker with all the options that came original on the car. Join Renntech.org and under the "Documents" tab is a list of what all the codes are. There is also a section in the Bentley manual that lists what the option codes are.

edit:
I was just looking for something else and ran into this.

Thanks for the info...

I did find in the owners manual the original bill of sale. So I have in service date...

2000 was the first yr. for the Boxster S correct? I'm sure production lists will tell us how many built from vin # to vin #.

I will clean up the bill of sale and frame it. As for Porsche dealer to be able to pull up a build sheet showing what came with this vin #... I know the dealer while trying to sell me another car pulled up a "history" and was telling me the MSRP. I guess that is the "print out" that I'm looking for.

Thanks again for the info.
