Question Is O.B.C. print out useful to a buyer?

I'm in the process of purchasing an '03 Boxster 2.7l. and have been told it is fitted with an onboard computor and that this can be accessed by major Porsche dealers.
Has anybody had experience with this and is the information from the OBC of any real value in assessing the vehicle?
Cheers,
Glenn

It would be interesting to see how many times, and to what degree, the previous owner bounced off the RevLimitor.
