Well, it looks like my run of no problems just ran out!
Drove the car home today after a short 5 mile drive, and when I got in the carport I smelled radiator fluid....Walked around the back of the car and its gushing fluid right around the area in front of the rear right tire....steam billowing out.....Getting the tow guy here now, hope its just a hose gone bad....Any ways ,it should be covered under the extended warranty....

Aw man!!! Sorry to hear that. Glad it's under warranty, though. If it's from above the tire it's probably the reservoir. The big hoses are down below just in front of the tire so if it's from that area it's probably the hose. Either way, warranty is goooooood.

Hope to hear you're back on the road soon.

Heres hoping its nothing major....no tip offs beforehand, no overheating, no leaks or smell....Not too many Porsche servicemen out here, so a diagnosis might take longer than normal, as they are backed up

.....Looked like Niagara Falls for about 10 seconds or so...

Mine just did the same thing. The fix was to "belch" the syatem with the valve under the flat cover by the oil and fluid caps. Since yours is under warrenty just have someone else fix it.

How did it get the air in there to require belching? That's the easiest fix for a spewing cooling system I've ever heard of. :dance:

Air developed in the system from one of the three radiators. After running the car with the valve open for a hour or so it worked its way out. I have not had any issues since.

Diagnosis: Cracked resovoir, probably due to air in the system.....I had just checked the fluid the day before this happened, to see where the level was at....Perhaps a bad cap as well? Anyways, its getting fixed tomorrow, with a new cap as well.....

Will be nice to get the wheels back!
