keys Aftermarket solution?
So Yesterday I miss place one of the Porsche keys and the top is down. I'm sure i will eventually find the key but it would be nice if I had a spare. Especilly since the car is outside and it is suppose to rain this weekend!

Was told the other day that there is no options but dealer.

You can buy the blank from Suncoast (Keys & Ignition: Porsche Parts & Porsche Accessories - Wholesale Porsche Parts & Tequipment - Cayman Panamera Cayenn) but will have to have it cut and fob programed at your Porsche dealer. Seems like $130-140 is the going rate for that. If you get the whole shebang from the dealer, plan on dropping $350 or so. Ask me how I know...

If you were in Oregon, these guys might be an option -
Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayenne, Keys and Remotes I requested a quote from them a couple months back for my '00 key/remote and I think it was like $280 to cut and program. |
You can get an emergency key for $45. I went to my dealership in Texas and they have some sort of emergency key, a grade below the valet key. Dunno if they would have it at your dealer.
