GoPro mounts not sticking .. any tips ?

As the title said I'm having trouble mounting the GoPro to my car. Getting ready for an AX tomorrow and the darn thing wont stick on any part of my dash or roll bar.

Wasted two mounts already .. the mount alone sticks initially with just the mount but the entire thing falls off when I add the weight of the GoPro .. I even tried warming up the adhesive a bit with a heat gun as well as clean the surface of dash.

Don't want to have to mount it to paint or glass .. but might have resort to that ..

Funny thing is it stuck so well to my bike tank that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it off the dash. Now just wishing the d*mn thing stuck.

Any tips for getting the glue mount to stick in the cabin would be appreciated.

PS. Don't want to use the suction mount .. WAYYY too much vibration with that thing .. the video would be useless anyways.
