Picture of 981s sitting in Atlanta
Can't claim to have taken this, even though I am down at the PCNA HQ building on bidness regularly. On another forum (non-Porsche) a poster put this up, saying his brother was visiting GA last week and snapped this. He wasn't even sure it was the new Boxster.
Anybody know where this is? It's not at PCNA. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1331154892.jpg |
Couple more
Don't everybody comment at once! ;)

Man, I would go NUTS.
|
Sorry, I couldn't comment because I had to go take a cold shower. Mighty nice!
|
nice. those look like a test fleet. all black and de-badged.
|
Looks like they are at a nice hotel which might be a long lead press introduction to media writers maybe close to the future headquarters site by the airport.
|
I think the tan vertical building is the Crowne Plaza near Hartsfield.
|
Yes, please.
|
The picture was taken with a Cell phone model Samsung Galaxy SPH-D700 but the GPS info was turned off so no dice locating it that way.
It does look like a Crowne Plaza but not one that looks familiar to the Atlanta area to me. It's Def not the Crowne near the Perimeter headquarters building. |

Reminds me of those pictures in San Francisco where Porsche lined up like a dozen new 991's all in black for some sort of undisclosed rally. They must all compare notes afterwards in some conference or meeting.
p.s. I don't like the car in that color. The new lines get washed out. |
About a month ago I swear those cars were in Key West. I saw a line of them headed up US1 leaving the Island and I was headed into the office. There were also a few other Porsches mixed in. I had forgotten about it until I read this post.
