Seat cover questions?

My Porsche shop was kind enough to give me a set of 911 leather seat covers from a car he is converting into a racecar as these are relativelyy new and do not have the cutouts on the side for the old carerra seat adjustment mechanism. My original leather on drivers side is chewed up pretty good and I have a pair of Porsche canvas seat covers hiding the worn leather. The dimensions look very similar but the leather patterns look like the ones from a pre 996 carerra. I am wondering if the carerra covers will fit on my stock boxster seats. Greatly appreciate help from my 986 brothers and sisters on here. Thanks in advance.

Since you are likely unskilled in reupholstery (based on your question) you should take your car and new seat covers to a good marine/automotive upholstery business and get their advice. Just because they aren't perfect now doesn't mean an upholstery professional can't make them perfect with a little nip-tuck.
