We should learn from the Chinese.
|
Could this be referred to as "The Boxster Rebellion' ?? :)

Good for them!! I wonder if there was something like this years ago about the IMS and other issues:ah: (if consumers knew then what we know now about it) we might not still be having them to this day. Live and learn

Hah, I love the contrast: Here is a society that used to have 100,000 bicycles on its streets that is now upset about the quality of $100,000 cars.
The times they are a-changin'. |
The company tired to shut him up but it looks like the bean counters thought different. Like in the comment section where someone said "...trying to quiet someone that can afford a $100,000 car...", how true. They have a very limited customer base, you damage that reputation and the masses (with their $$$) will migrate somewhere else.
Our IMS issue sounds like one of many that are plaguing the company. Just like our issue, the company is turning a deaf ear to the out cry for a resolution to some known braking problem on the Cayenne. |
I'll bet Porsche wishes they could build a special tank and re-run Tienanmen Square, it fits perfectly with their customer satisfaction program and future sales prevention department.

In a "normal" Chinese style scenario, the fully insured car you see on that news having the same problems would end up in a staged accident ;) Not sure wtf happened to this unfortunate Porsche owner for him to make a cute little public demonstration in all honesty! Very funny
As you can see.... knowledge about cars among many other things related is still at its infantry here in China (I'm temporarily based here) |
Sounds a lot like the Toyota brake pedal defect. In the end, it was always driver error.

Maybe Porsche is building Porsche's in China...no wonder he's pissed.

The roads are apocalyptic quality-wise at best many sport cars run off the ramps here & there and anywhere else in this country (in trees, under bridges, you name it all). I read that the average driving experience of new car owners in Shanghai is 'one year'. This figure should be more or less the same across the country. Private car ownership was introduced here in China only ten years ago.
The common modifications made on cars here is still at adding ricer stickers and coloured LEDs... drift car style. You getting the picture? I personally blame Porsche all the way I'm sorry. Completely wrong environment, worst road conditions ever experienced, over populated, no safe zones, inexperienced drivers, and apparently inexperienced customers. I think we have it all here.... P couldn't care less really and now it's biting them back lolllll |
every line of that article looks suspicious to me.
