parts from an S or 997?

Hey guys I am heading to my favorite salvage yard this week to score some goodies. I just got my 2000 Boxster and it needs some lovin. I went to a local yard and was able to get a spoiler motor, door spring, and some small interior pieces but could not find what I want.

I called up to my Yard checking to see if they had a top for my car and He said they have 18 tops in good shape right now. The owner, a friend, told me to come on and spend the day and sent me pics of all of his P cars on hand. I have a base model as my project for my wife and I am planning on grabbing,

986 parts

Glass window top,
Headlights,
big reds,
Some 997 seats (do they fit ok, will gt3 seats fit)
If I am lucky Nav
rear bumper cover
hood
Shift boot
interior bits

Is there any thing else I should hunt for? I am picking through roughly 23 986s half Ss, 5 987s and 13 997s and one Gt3 hit hard. I am also grabbing some bits for my s4 from a mushed GTS but I have that covered.

thanks

Technically, an '03 and up glass window top will not fit on your vehicle. However, with some changes other members have been successful in "fashioning" one to fit . I would suggest doing some research on the forum before pulling the trigger on one .

I did some searching and all I could find that it is a little harder to latch. Why will it not fit my car? Was the shell of the car changed when they went to the glass rear window? Do you know what the difference is? I am swapping the entire top not just the canvas, I am also grabbing a bunch of top mechanical parts just to be on the safe side.
