Mount swapped.
Changed my motor mount today and it was very easy to do. Just got my 2000 a month ago and was a but gun shy of the car because of the mid engine but these cars are fairly easy to work on. I had zero problems shifting, no vibration at all, but in the past couple of days I had a little thump when I revved the car and changed gears. I was very surprised to find that the mount was absolutely shot.
The center fell out
all back together and happy again It only took 30 minutes. I am starting to like this car...

Hi Animus,
Can you press out the steel outer sleeve of the rubber mount and ship it to me?
I'll gladly pay the shipping cost.
Or if it's too much trouble to press it out and you don't need the mount bracket, I'll take the whole thing.

Great thread and glad to hear it was an easy fix. While some were commenting on the lift...where the heck did you get the light saber?!?! Now that is a shop tool!

I just ordered mine and had it delivered on Tuesday from Greg Smith Equipment, a bunch of folks at my work have bought his lifts and I am totally stoked! How I got my wife to buy in on this...have her sit out in the garage and see how scary putting a car up on four jacks and say...if it crashes please try to get the jack under the car so I don't suffer!
Nah...not really, I redid the kitchen for her and she said make your shop into what you want.

I actually hate my light saber. It is a little shop light that I concocted. I could not find my led light.

My engine mount looked the same after 90,000 miles - nothing left. My car made a knocking sound in hard corners as the engine moved around. Glad it was an easy fix. Good job.

I checked mine a few weeks back I had a vibration at around 3000rpm on run down, it was just starting to crack, I filled the bush voids with PU sealant and left it to set for a couple of days.
Now fitted on the car it's perfect, slightly stiffer than a standard part and it will last for years
