Becker Mexico Pro Radio upgrade

Has anyone considered upgrading to another Becker head unit such as the Mexico Pro? Seems like a good unit and would maintain the amber look of the dashboard. Below are the specs from their website:

I was/am looking into getting a Becker Monza to retain the factory look. The Mexico and Monza are "gray market" in the US. I spoke with an online seller and he told me that the only drawback is that AM reception doesn't really work in the US. Not a big deal for me. Of course, you pay a premium to retain the factory look versus an equivalent aftermarket radio.

Becker head units are not really that well made either. Most people think they're crap to tell you the truth... but they will maintain that factory look.

I just decided that an Alpine that fits the description of the Mexico (plus a lot more features) at $235.00 would be far cheaper and outperform it, even though it doesn't look factory.
