Ohio, let us know what that already exhilarating ride is like with the mods, a sound clip would be badass. As for Randall, no worries, I'm typing in front of a roaring fire in my Blue house and check this out the fire is in a pellet stove not a meth pressure cooker.

ohioboxster 02-27-2012 03:00 PM

I will put up some clips for sure. My friends turbo 911 goes in first, he had the stage 1 kit installed and lost his clutch almost immediately. I may have my clutch done while it's there, we'll see what they say. After my car then my other friends AMG goes in for a tune.

tuanle16 02-27-2012 04:11 PM

ahhh. makes sense now. so...am i a pretentious prick with bad grammar? damn, it does bother me! but on a side note, beautiful car. i am debating on getting one too.

Ghostrider 310 02-27-2012 04:56 PM

Tuanle, You had to expect the thrashing, what was unexpected was just how well executed and Dennis Miller-esk it was. This forum is truly a friendly place where you can come with vehicle stories triumphant and awful. I know I would have never got through the header job without the good doctor from Long Island. Treat people like you like to be treated, it's really golden rule simple. Busting balls is fine but you need to establish it first, you came from a place nobody saw as satire. I mean I didn't know I had to add living in blue house to the weight of answering the question why am I here...

Ghost is right . One has to first establish himself on the forum like I did before excising a penchant for sarcasm, obnoxious behavior and the prurient . :)

Where? In-between the blow filled balloons he's been muling to fund his secret wars?

I prefer burros .

ohioboxster 02-28-2012 02:21 PM

There's traces of stool in my gunpowder...

My car goes to Switzer on Thursday morning. If the building is blue I'm going to turn around and leave. ;)

ohioboxster 03-01-2012 03:55 PM

Switzer did an amazing job on my car. The exhaust is like a piece of art.

That's a gorgeous exhaust. Which one is it? Looks like a lot of work to install.

ohioboxster 03-01-2012 08:20 PM

It's Switzer Performance Innovation, it took the guy about 4 hours.

Given the amount of visible dis assembly 4 hours isn't a surprise. It looks really nice, I'm sure it will sound cool. I looking forward to seeing what the factory sport exhaust sounds like my own self.

That is one of the best looking exhaust system I have ever seen!

+1

That thing looks like it belongs in the Guggenheim...well done!

OB, you gonna give me a ride in this thing when it's finished up? I'm basically just around the corner from you. I missed out on a ride in the supercharged Boxster (my fault: I didn't ask...didn't know you were gonna sell the damn thing so fast!). Don't want to make the same mistake twice. (My kid? The one who knows WAY more about cars than I do? He wants to check it out too. He said he's willin' to scrunch up in the back seat for a ride...)

RandallNeighbour 03-02-2012 07:36 AM

I hope it proves to be as good on performance as it is on looks. I bet it sounds glorious!

ohioboxster 03-02-2012 11:03 PM

Yes, we'll set up a ride, we just need to make sure the roads are nice and dry.

Frodo 03-03-2012 03:47 AM

That works! No rush. Modify away. Heck, I haven't even taken the Boxsta out of winter moth balls yet...been kind of wondering why I even bothered with that this year.

ohioboxster 03-03-2012 10:48 AM

Frodo, I was going to cover this car up, keep it in the garage and cherish it. There's been a few guys around my age that work for me finding out they have the big "C". Life is entirely too short, I'm going to drive it. I don't see me selling this one real soon. I've built a bunch of cars to go fast and was never happy. There was always a price for the performance. The black Corvette I build was pretty fast, but I smelled like fuel after driving around in it. It was so loud you couldn't talk to your passenger. This car I had flashed, air filter, exhaust swapped and it'll rip your head off. You're going to be amazed. I've been babying it because I'm meeting Marty and Mike for dinner tonight. There's no was a factory clutch will hold up to this new found power. My e-mail is mpaolino@att.net if you want to add me to your contacts.
