Pelican Parts is the leading online retailer of German parts and accessories such as Porsche, BMW and Mercedes. We also provide free technical content to car enthusiast and will soon be serving more leading European car brands. Pelican Parts is located in Harbor City (Los Angeles). We have an exciting position open in our online Web development department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

-Research vehicle information for Web entry
-Modify and create web pages using HTML
-Market Research of new products and vendors
-Manage Vendor Accounts to insure we have the latest data available
-Correct on-line catalog errors
-Photograph parts
-Generate new ideas to increase efficiency

Requirements:
-Creative problem solver
-Web-development or on-line catalog experience
-Experience in modifying web pages using HTML or similar
-Able to work in a fast paced environment and not afraid to take on any project

Dumb question time: do you have to be local? I ask because some web developer positions I've seen were work from home, even if that home was thousands of miles away, as long as you had internet, IM and phone.

Not a dumb question at all, right now were leaving it open for local candidates however you may still e-mail a copy of your resume in case we make it a remote position.
