Tiptronic Knob replacement

Hi, I got this in the mail today... I was hoping there would be some instructions but sadly no.

Might just be a brute force thing ? Just grip it and pull it out ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks Tony, my old knob was fitted loosely so I was able to pulll it off. Then I pushed the new one into place.. looks great.

I know this is an old post, but does anybody know where to get this part?

Hi, I'm sorry I can't quite remember now but I do remember looking for it for a long time, it was some obscure website.
If I find it again I will re-post.
I did see that on ebay they have second hand assemblies for $30.

Hi thank you.
I'll really appreciate it if you can post the link to the website where you got it from if you can find it.
Thanks for the link to the eBay one.

I installed mine with a large rubber-jawed bar clamp made for wood working that I had in my garage. Got them at Home Depot. Weren't expensive, and you can always use a pair of clamps
