987 S with Caymen Motor

Well, the legend is true.

The 987 S with the CAYMEN MOTOR (yes, the same motor from the Caymen) was totalled in an accident the other day just as I was to take it for a spin.

My co-worker recieves various Porsche press cars which I have had the luxury to drive (ex: the black 997 S used for various press shoots) is ok, however the masterpiece has been wrecked :barf:

The 987 S is the only such car FROM THE FACTORY with the Caymen Motor built into the new boxster for test purposes.

Apparently on a local onramp, the driver lifted up mid-turn as high speed and induced the spin at around 90 mph, taking out a few signs and 2 carpool stoplights.

Damn it, I was going to be the envy of all!!! The one to drive a new 987 S with the Caymen motor.
