Thanks for aftermarket warranty!
 

I know lots of you are looking for aftermarket warranty so I so far at least got a good experience with mine recenty. I have 97 w/ 9k only when I bought it also bought a aftermarket warranty with these guys. It's the cheapest and most coverage I can find for an 8yr old car. Last week while closing my top basically it was screwed up and I check the net this is very common for 97-99 boxster. BAM the dealer says $1400.Ouch! Their rep was at dealer yesterday to see the car, nway I got good news today that their covering it except for $50 and my $100 co pay. I got the diamond coverage from them. Warranty direct wants to cover my car $2000 for 2yrs and 24k while I got 50k 3yrs for only $1300 from them so I got my money's worth already. SO highly recommended so far! I get like $25 if I refer anybody so, email me atleast if ever you decide to get covered by them I can send you my vsa number.

I checked out the website but unfortunately they cannot sell extended warranty in California. Anyone knows the reason why?

That totally sucks! I was looking forward to using them as well. Any other places where we can get great extended warranties at affordable prices here in California?

Most likely the huge amount of CA regulations and fees keep it from being profitable.

Ca licenses these warranty vendors as insurance companies, which of course they are.

This regulation is not OK for some vendors, who either don;t have the dough or don't like the scrutiny.

That of course, MIGHT tell you something about them.

either way it's a expensive repair for a top that barely used, I live in oregon not to o much sunshine here :( the parts more than anything! but for them to get to see the car the second day at dealer and approved the next day, at the dealer labor rate. I pretty impressed! Like a lot people says not a lot feel good stories out there about this aftermarket companies. I almost didn't buy one after hearing this stories but It's better to have one, I think than Not! Boxster is a very expensive car when It's breaks down.
