J tube won't stay connnected 98 Boxster
 
I removed the J tube to the Air Oil Separator when I repaired the idle control valve. Now the tube doesn't want to stay connected. Actually looks like the tube is too short to fit well. Is there any trick to making the tube stay connected? Are the replacement tubes any longer than what I suppose is an original 98 issue?

... Air/Oil separator and didn't replace the J-tube you'll need a new one.
The original (horizontal) AOS used a J-tube that's about 1 inch too short for the new (vertical) AOS.
