Replacement Intake Grills
 

I'm having an issue trying to locate replacement side grills for my 2001 986. Auto Atlanta shows 1 ea in stock but for 97-2000 only. My car is missing the grills on both sides. I don;t like the gaping hole look :) Any aftermarket suggestions?

I hand fashioned a set from JC whitney flat mesh blanks, it took some time and adhering them has to be done carefully, but from the front they looked perfect. I later removed them as I like the look of the GT3 nose wide open.

I think Earn is referring to the intakes for the engine, just aft of the doors.

You'd have to paint them, unless your car happened to be red.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was referring to the engine intake grills near the rear of the body. I can deal with paining the red ones, I appreciate the help!!
