I'm sure Wayne can keep that limiter from being so strict in the off-topic forum area, manolo. ;)

Topless nailed it, Wayne. That's just about exactly the problem I run into from time to time, but more frequently than I'd like. Basically, if I forget to click "Preview Post" within a few minutes (easy to forget when writing one of my long-winded responses), I run the risk of getting timed out of the forum. A half hour would be even better, but ultimately I guess it'd be up to you (or a forum poll, perhaps)?

I sure didn't see this coming, but it has to be a positive thing. Pelican is great but moreso for the aircooled crowd. This should help move Pelican along with the water pumper group. I've never had that idle timer issue on this forum, unlike some others. I stay logged in for days here if I don't reboot or close Mozilla. I noticed I was no longer logged in tonight, likely because of the server work this weekend. Must be a preference setting in the browser???

Used to be but now I am logging in every time I sit for a few minutes. Not that it's a big problem.

No log in issues and definitely faster now :) Best part with the upgraded forum software is my browser's ad-block add-in now functions perfectly ;)

Sorry to see Bruce & Rich step down from the helm as they've done a fantastic job but best of luck Wayne. Hopefully 986forum will maintain it's unique individual style :)

And a big thanks for being able to upload pics instead of only url based images!

Hm...can we expand our number and types of smilies? :D
