Looks better than any Porsche with a nephrite green interior!
Porsche option selection means you can do pretty much anything, including things that you shouldn't do!

It looks more like pastel yellow than speed yellow to me . It wouldn't surprise me if the vehicle was a repaint, and the original color was some shade of silver .

The structure behind the front bumper, under the hood, and inside the headlight recesses is yellow. Unless this was a unibody level repaint, that IS the original color. BTW, that color was a factory option in the 2.5L years. The top is definitely black.

I saw that as well. However, taking into consideration that the wheels, calipers, rollbars, ect.. have all been repainted, it appears that someone was determined to reinvent this car . Which leads me to believe that they may have gone to great lengths to fully repaint the vehicle. I just can't imagine that this thing left the factory pastel yellow with a red
interior .

There are a couple early 986's around here that are pastel yellow and came that way from the factory. Porsche is happy to let you choose screwy color combo's if you want!

Mint condition, indeed No doubt because the PO couldn't bear to be inside it...

Looks like Ronald McDonald got all hooped up on a mcflurry and wrecked his car... That things horrible. I hope nobody got hurt in that wreck, but that thing may be better off not being on the road.
I looked at a white S before I bought my car and it had a blue interior and a blue top which was a deal breaker for me.

Re the yellow car - funny that the emblems are missing from the rear decklid but if he resprayed the car why are the bumperettes unpainted black? Also, the exhaust tip is standard Boxster but the calipers are painted red like an S.

That's a 996. At least the 986s had some black parts to break up all that green.

I believe that Porsche referred to this as the LC package. That is the Lucky Charms package .
