I only notice the sensation you're talking about when I'm driving much faster than I should be in wet conditions.

Summer Tires. idk about the flaps. I will check when I get a chance. But I never had this problem with the car I drove before the Boxster, which was 500 lbs lighter and also had high performance summer tires.

You must be washing that car every day.

I don't even see a hint of brake dust on your wheels. So clean.

The down-pour in New Mexico did a fine job of cleaning the wheels.

I feel great!! These Arizona locals are a great bunch; they are really helping me out. While smoking the peace pipe they said, “Drivem Jäger car on trail 66 to the end… There you will find great warrior chief Geronimo. He will make you great deal on fine jewelry and automotive accessories”.

I pulled into my driveway about two hours ago... 5796 miles in less than three weeks and over 219,000 miles on the JägerMobile. Excluding the flat tire I had no issues with the car. Now it's time for an oil change and a thorough cleaning.

Nice! Good to see that even the volume produced Porsches can go the distance.

Recently did a road trip out west.
At HPR High Plains Raceway just before hail pummeled the field.

I think Porsche allowed less then 200 of these to enter the US.

What do you guys think of my GT3 Aero Splitter.

Thanks for the virtual ride-along, Jäger! I'd love to take a trip like that (making a mental note to try and avoid 40, though...), it really looks like a blast! Nearly 6000 miles, and neverminding the impressive mileage already on the car, just sounds like a good time for a few weeks of cruising.

			Thanks for the ride along!
I enjoyed reading about your adventures a cross country.
Hopefully one day I'll be able to take a similar trip.

What's the best tip you can give for someone that's taking a long trip?

Don't push it... Give yourself time for the trip. Pick a destination that is about 8 hours or less (make hotel reservations the day before) and spend a lttle time enjoying that pit-stop location. Oh yea, check your spare!

Did that last week. Down to Santa Barbara for lunch then up to paso for wine tasting, morro bay for breakfast (PCA-CCCR meeting) after a hotel stay, back to SLO for shopping, out to Cuyama for picnic lunch, and back via Tepesquet to Foxen canyon for winetasting and back home.
