Way too much fun! Be safe.
Tell me more about that glass window top when you have time. My 98 is ready for a new top.

Paul,
It's a GAHH top I installed myself about four years ago. There was a fantastic write-up/instructions on how to replace the Boxster top in Excellence magazine that was published about that time. When I get home I will try to find that magazine.
Taking a pit stop in Springdale Arkansas for a day or two. I spent about 15 hours on the road yesterday.

I connected the Durametric system into the car while in Michigan and there was that pesky P0430 alarm… again. No check engine light but the alarm is hanging in the Fault Code queue. I cleared the alarm in Michigan and checked it again today (after a 15 hour drive yesterday) and it’s back. Looks like I will be replacing catalytic converters soon (guess I can’t complain after 217,000 miles).

I also brought along a new (spare) LN Engineering IMS bearing and all the tools to replace the one I just put in, if I had to.
I also have a spare belt, MAF sensor, and spare spark plug coils.
