While I definutely feel sorry for Matt. You have to realize that he bought a used car from an independant dealer and the car is out of the usual warranty period both in time and km.

If I were him I would still be upset, but he really is up the creek without a paddle, so to speak.

Can someone familiar with this failure mode explain how a broken fuel pump can lead to metal fragment inside the engine?
