My porsche's alarm won't shut up! Aaahh!!

Hi everyone!

My neighbor said to me today your car's alarm keeps going off and it's upsetting her cats. Anyone had this problem? And is there any way to make it less sensitive?

Check to make sure that...

... your CLU is not wet (under the driver's seat).
If it is read my response to the waterlogged CLU above.
Happy Boxstering,

Reminds me of an article I read many years ago about a criminal’s confession on how he stole cars (Corvettes). If he found one he liked he would see if it had an alarm system. If it did, he would keep setting it off (by touching or bumping it) until the owner thought there was an alarm system issue and then they would deactivate it... Guess what happen then?

Mine would occasionally go off and what I found was that the battery was getting weak. Since I installed a new battery I have had no faulty alarms.

Have you recently installed an aftermarket radio by any chance?
