Airbag Door

My passenger side airbag door is starting to "open" a little. It is no longer completely flush with the rest of the dash, there is a slight gap. Does anyone have an easy solution to completely close the door again? Thanks.

Mine is doing the same thing.

The bottom of it comes out a little bit and I have to push it back in place.

Yes, but mine won't push back in place. It's not terrible but it would be nice if there was a fix for it.

Have you tried pulling it out to see how it is supposed to attach?

No, I've been afraid of making it worse and then not being able to get it closed at all.
It doesn't seem warped, it's just not completely closed.

In case anyone is interested I fixed mine by giving it a firm wack with the palm of my hand. In the middle and on both sides. We'll see how long it lasts.

It secures from under the dash. There is a foam cover under that dash that is held in place with plastic screws. Remove that. Then there are two nuts that hold the airbag module (which includes the dash cover) in place. You can reach these with a rachet extension. Loosen them, push the assembly towards the front of the car, and tighten them back down.
