Hi

Can someone tell me if 18 inch wheels that came from a 2005 boxster S would fit without an issues on a 2000 Boxster s?

Mate, I got 19" rims on a old '97 Boxster with ET50 and they fit just as if the car was designed to have these 18" will fit for sure given the rear are not more than 10 inches wide.

not sure what the offset is I haven;t looked at my original setup' I do know that the 2005 boxster wheels are 8 inches wide in front and 9 in the rear by 18 inch diameter or course.

The 987 platform vehicles typically have higher offset wheels . It's very likely that they will fit, however, they may require spacers in order to augment the fitment .

The front offset is quite high, I would add at least a 10 mm spacer in order to move the wheel out a bit . As far as the rears are concerned, they'll fit ok . However, you probably won't be happy with the look or stance they produce . So, I would add a 10 mm spacer as well .

Thanks for the reply I will keep you posted on how they fit when I put them on. Just one more thing where would be the best place to get spacers?

There are numerous sources to buy them from online, to include Ebay . Just make sure that they are Porsche specific/hubcentric with the correct length lug bolts .
