Had a short conversation with a 512 BB Ferarri pilot the other day on the 105, leaving work (LAX)

512: "How fast is your Boxster"
Me: About 160
512: I think I have a few on you...
Me: Undoubtably
512: How fast we going now?
Me: I'm showing a whopping 12 mph
512: Me too :)

The sport bike took the 911T off the line, but as the race progressed, the 911T caught back up and took the bike in the end. Do you think the guy on the bike let up, or is the 911T just that much faster in the top end?

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

My guess is the bike let up. That bike will run the qtr in 9.9 seconds. Unreal!!!!

Nice vid. Looks like the bike let up in the wake of the jet.

He was probably doing 150 mph by then.

Most modern sport bikes:
0-60 mph: around 2.7 seconds
0-100 mph: around 5.5 seconds
1/4 mile: around 10 seconds @ over 140 mph.

Insane.

That is not an F-16....

An F18 F15 or modern F16 would soke both the bike and the 911 as if they stood still. There is a video of a modern F1 car racing a modern fighter aircraft, and it is close. I doubt the r1 or 911 would hang with a modern f1 car.
