Talking 3k RPM Vibration solved!

Finally, the vibration a 3000 rpm seems to be gone after some trial and error.
First step was of course a new front motor mount. This did nothing to solve the problem. Next attemt was the dual mass flywheel, vibration still there. Then finally, after fitting my new bypass-pipes to day they seems to be gone. I have so far only tested first and second gear but on the other hand it was worst in lower gears.
To me this solution makes sense as I have noticed earlier when changing muffler that the vibrations also changed due to different mounting height.
Also, this is not a common topic on the european Boxster forums. Probaly due to those cars only have 2 cats.
When the rain stops I will do a final test to see how the sound and powergains are.I do not expect to feel anything more than a few hp increase.

VERY interesting!!

I just ordered Fabspeed bypass pipes.

Also, just got the car back from the dealership, I asked if the 3,200 rpm vibration is ok, of course they said it is...

I look so forward to the pipes, now even more!!!

After one week of driving conclusion is that there is an increase in power, not much but you can feel it.
Sound is also slightly improved.
Vibrations is not totally gone but they moved a few hundred rpm:s higher up in the register out of cruising speed and to a much less extent than before.
Now it is only a matter of a new fresh engine mount.

What is a fresh engine mount? If you meant "front" then I thought you already changed it?
