ASpec818 Registered User Join Date: May 2011 Location: Richmond Posts: 93	what does the # on the sides of the engine mean? starts with 996.. While swapping out the spark plugs today, I noticed a 996 xxxxxx number engraved on both sides of the engine near the plugs. Looks like the previous owner might've swapped something. What part is this?
