Long Scratch on my 2003 Black Boxster

Hello everyone.
I just found out that someone scrached my passenger door. It's over 30 inch...
I could feel the scratch with my finger tip. However, it's not too deep...
I tried with Scratch X from Meguiar but it did not work.. I read in forum that try to use 3M rubbing compound.. Please let help if you had similar situation.
Thank you very much.

Post a detailed close up of it and also let me know if it is only in the clear coat or also through the paint. Can you see the metal or primer?

If it's in the paint the only way to take it back to the way it was is to repaint the door.

Yes, but often it is not. My partner's Escalade was keyed this weekend on the driver's door. He thinks it needs to be painted but I looked at it today and can fix it with wet sanding and buffing in under an hour! It'll buff like new!

No, I collect watches, not scrap metal.
