Wheel fitment ?

19" techart formula clone wheels . 8.5" et 45 front 10" et 60 rear . what size spacers are needed and would there be any problem with these size wheels on an 03S ? I am having a hard time finding 18" wheels that i like.

Stock offset on the 10" rear is 47, not sure 60's would work without a 15mm spacer. There is very little room between the tire edge and strut.
Fronts would probably work, stock is 8" and 50 et.

How about this wheel? It's 27 lbs but it fits.

The fronts are fine, but you'll need to bring the rear offset down to around +45 to start .

do you think there will be any issues with the 15 mm spacer ? i am not a big fan of 19" wheels on a 986 but i really like the techart look . they look very similar to formulas with a little sharper edge.

As far as fitment is concerned, no problems using a 15 mm spacer at all . In fact, +40-45 is a very desirable offset in the rear for a 986 .

I ordered these Techart clone wheels from Design 911 UK I hope they are half decent. I already got a pair of 15mm spacers on the rear of the car so that part is good.
I am not sure what size tires to get . My car is not lowered yet. I would like to fit tires that are going to give the most comfort with out looking odd or having issues. The roads here are like a third world country.

The best tire choice IMO would be 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 . Those sizes strike an excellent balance between fit and performance; especially if you plan to lower the vehicle with coilovers in the future .

i will take your advice with tire size it's very close to what i was thinking . i was planning on doing the Row 030 suspension ? techart type 2 03 boxster splitter if i can find a knock off and the aero kit 2 side skirts . then i'm done .

If you're referring to the add on corner splitters, in the past I knew of a few sources where one could find some knock-off versions (not that Techart actually makes their own anyway). I'll check my files and let you know if I come across them .

I guess it is the Techart type 2 for the 03 04 cars . it is a one piece part. i can not find one anywhere. Vivid racing is discounting them at 900.00 that is ridiculous for a splitter .

This might interest you. It's basically a knock-off of the Cargraphic add on splitter for a fraction of the price .

Here's a set of knock-off Techart corner splitters going for cheap on Ebay.

i don't think these will fit the 03 04 front bumper. i like the look of the techart spoiler. it has a nice clean look to it. it does not look like an add on. i've searched and searched no copies to be found or anything even similar .
