Help removing exhaust

I have loosened/removed all the bolts (including 2 behind the bumper). I have the exhaust loose to the point I can move it around quite a bit under the car, but when sliding back out, the front part of the exhaust that bolts to the headers keeps getting caught on the cv boot. I have lifted the axle and wiggled the exhaust seemingly endlessly for clearance to no avail. How does this thing slide out?

take off the clamps on the U elbows. Slide the U off. The muffler is now only held on by the top bolts, and the hangers if you have them. Falls right off.

If you have not taken the bumper off, You may think about that, It make the job so much less of a knukle buster.
