Strange Exhaust Noise

So just to throw it out there, this video is NOT my car. However, my car makes a very similar noise. Does anyone know what this is a result of and how to fix it. The car sounds great then it just sounds like crap right above idle.

I would venture to guess that the design of the catback exhaust (i.e. resonators) are creating a distinct and peculiar acoustic during deceleration .

Lobo1186,

Are you running an aftermarket exhaust or are you getting this noise with a stock setup?

In case you haven't seen this thread it is about the same sort of noise I believe. Unfortunately there isn't a conclusive resolution, but some theories.

BTW, I'm running a complete NHP system on my 2.7 and don't hear anything like the sounds from the video.
