6 Channel Amp, Right?
Anyone have this setup? My 99 Boxster already has an aftermarket Sony Drive-5 stereo. Looks like someone pulled the old factory head unit and basically is powering the door and dash speakers with the (52watt X 4) Sony head unit. The amp is doing nothing.
Here's my thought...
Replace the door and dash speakers with high quality units...
Add 4-3 1/2 speakers in the rear storage compartment
Power the whole shee bang with a 6 channel Hot Rod amplifier...
No Subs....just getting bass from the upgraded door speakers. I just want a nice full range system. Thoughts?
