986 above 70 degrees drives great...

I have a 2000 'S' and live in Charlotte NC. I've been out on fun drives at all temps this winter and it'e really interesting how differently the car drives above 70 degrees. Have others noticed this too? It's like the springs soften and the new shocks I put in back in Dec (HD front \ Sport rear) get to do their job. It goes from a harsh ride to a well balanced muted feel, it really makes the car so much fun to drive, I find myself making excuses to just go down the street. It was 73 late today and looks like some more 70s this week, gonna enjoy it before the 90s get here!

Oh man, I am so ready to go..... we had 70's the last couple of days only to wake up today with more than a foot of snow on the ground....

And yes, warm days seem to do good to the car, no questions!

Forecast is for mid 70's tomorrow and I will be out and about driving to anywhere!

The tires definately grip better when it's warm. Though I was surprised how well it did on the track when it was in the 40's last week. I was instructing at an SCCA school on the Lightning track @NJMP, and got to do some hot laps. 90 MPH exiting "The Lightbulb" with the tires just starting to drift, lots of fun! ( they were supposed to be "street pace" laps, but I couldn't help myself. I did back off on the straights )
