Looking for the part number/name of a little metal clip
 

Hi everyone,

While in the process of installing a garage door opener into one of the spare dash buttons, a little metal clip popped out, made a ping and flew across the garage, never to be seen again.

This clip holds the button panels to the dash. It's sort of a U-shaped, and fits into the a square cutout in the plastic. There are two of them per button panel. I've attached a picture of the area.

I searched around online, but came up empty. For the life of me I can't find any reference to these clips. Does anyone know the name or possibly part number?

PET has several 'Speed Nuts' listed (999 507 462 02) on illustration 809-00. Each has a different number...I took the number from the one that looks to be most closely in the area you indicate.

Really hard to tell if this is what you need...but thought I would point you in the right direction. Check your local parts guy and see if he knows.

I think I found it in the following drawing, listed as PANEL FASTENER (999 507 533 02), number 14 on illustration 809-01. I plan on ordering a couple of these, and we'll see how it goes.
