BMC Air filter

anyone use BMC air filter over the OEM? Benefits vs price?
Looks like $120 vs. $40

I'm running the BMC drop-in filter. I've read you get better flow initially, but after some time it flows no better than the OE filter. I don't know if this is true. It can be cleaned and re-oiled and theoretically will outlast the car.

Fabspeed has them for $85.

Once I installed it, you can just hear it sucking more vs oem. Got it for 80 online
