Question What Will Be the 987 Model Repalcement?

What will replace the 987? When will this happen?

A Pcar salesman mentioned a 2.0 turbo but wouldn't talk further.

Soon. It'll have a longer nose just like the next 911 due to increased crash safety standard.

Most likely it'll be bigger too since Porsche is looking to release the baby boxster in 2014 or something.

Whether it is government mandated safety standards or not, I really hate the trend toward larger cars although Porsche has kept their cars small compared to most other manufacturers. I miss how tiny the 914 was. Even the 928 was small compared to today's 911. I hope the new "Baby Boxster" will be appropriately sized.

The current Boxster is 4.1" shorter than the current 911. Will the 911 get bigger too?

How will a new smaller baby Boxster meet the increased safety standards?
