Coolant vapor/steam from heat vents

Hi guys,

Is there anything besides the heater core inside the dash that can leak coolant causing coolant vapor to come from the vents when the heat is turned on??

Its always a really good thick blast of it when I first turn on the blower and then seems to go away or be much less noticeable. .....can still smell it though.

I replaced my leaky heater-core with a good used one from ebay last fall but just wondering if there is anything else that could be leaking ..... or if the used one I bought is also leaking.

The used one I bought looked like new so I find it hard to believe but I guess it could be leaking......????
