LED Turn Signal /Indicator bulb?
Anyone has LED turn signal bulbs installed in their headlights? If so, where did you put the resistors?
I have theseresistors which seemed to have fixed the hyper flashing, but I'm not sure where to attach them as they can get quite hot and the headlights are all plastic underneath? http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/2/9...29293132_o.jpg  |
I have LED signal bulbs front and rear
I did not install any resistors, but replaced the signal relay For the back I had the switch polarity as my Boxster had positive ground |

I believe I bought all the stuff at v-leds.com
They offer a replacement flasher which can deal with the lower current from LED lights http://www.v-leds.com/Electronic-LED-Flashers/c122487-1-3/ But again: switching the polarity for the LED rear blinkers is a ugly hack, and you need to know what you're doing |
BTW: These are the LEDS I am using (front and rear)
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/Turn-Signal-LED/Amber-LED/V-LEDS-AMBER-20-LED-7W-p6848528-1-2.html Yes, they are expensive but these are the only ones which are bright enough. Forget all this cheap eBay crap, you can hardly see it during the day |

So how does one switch the polarity for the rear lamps, ugly hack or otherwise? It would be great if someone with this knowledge can post some info. Thanks.
