I measured cam 1&2 deviation in Durametric and got the attached results (see pic).
Reason to be worried?
This is from a 2 year old replacement engine which I got after my original engine failed with IMS failure

Comments, ideas ?

Theoretically, cam deviation values should be zero, but in the real world they never are and you always get some odd ball +/- values. These are caused by slight tolerances in the cam drive system and the position sensors and are nothing to be concerned about as long as they remain relatively steady.

When an IMS goes bad, these deviation values will “dance” back and forth, indicating that something that should not be moving is.
